Heritage Financial Corp. reported fourth-quarter net income applicable to common shareholders rose to $9.1 million, or earnings of 77 cents per share, from $772,000, or 4 cents a share a year earlier. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters First Call expected fourth-quarter earnings of 56 cents per share.
